BERLIN again...

Back to the trip- a lot has happened since Bruges.

Tuesday 26th July

So it finally happened, it took two months of just turning up unannounced at camp sites, but upon our return to Berlin the ‘No Vacancy’ sign was out.  This wouldn’t have been a problem if we had time to find another campsite, but after discussions on the bus about the ability for some men to pleasure themselves with their own mouths we had agreed to try out the new fetish club so it was a dinner not to be missed. This left us 80 minutes to trot to a hostel round the corner, start training for the quickest check-ins in history, shower and return to the other side of Berlin. Post dinner drinks brought out the vagrant in all of us drinking in the park (as none of us had packed the right clothes for entry to the club and there just wasn’t enough gaffer tape to go round to make one) while making grand plans for the following nights pub crawl.

Wednesday 27th July

The group excelled themselves as you would expect from us, and in our dresses and our heels only second outing we went pub to pub to beach bar to club with Linda the scariest guide they could have provided.  Pub crawl highlighted how broken everyone’s clothes and shoes are and also what a great invention gaffer tape is. As the night wore on the group split off with some members taking the opportunity to sample the accommodation choices of others at the end of it.

Thursday 28th July

As hangovers were gradually cured by sushi our attention was drawn to the rash taking control of Alex’s body, convinced alcohol alone couldn’t do this it was the start of many trips to the chemist, no hospital at this point though it may have been easier than Prague.

We also saw a new way to deal with the rain if you don't have an umbrella (very similar to Paul's method)!

It was on this night we finally came to our senses and agreed to ditch the heels as all they have provided so far is the occasional tent pole hammer and sore feet.
